Oswald Chamber says, "The one marvelous secret of a holy life lies not in imitating Jesus but in letting the perfections of Jesus manifest themselves in my mortal flesh... In Jesus Christ is the perfection of everything, and the mystery of sanctification is that all the perfections of Jesus are at my disposal" (My Utmost for His Highest, 149). That's the only perfection we should ever desire to attain.
We need to know that God doesn't expect us to be perfect in performance but perfect in heart. We need to know that God already views us as perfect when He looks into our hearts and sees Jesus there. In our flesh we strive to succeed. We feel we're worth something when we win, worthless when we lose. What we demand of ourselves is always limited by the outer layer. Human perfection can only be as good as that. But God says He wants to make you something more than your human excellence. You will rise to the level and degree you sense His love in your life. "
My reflection:
It's easier to attain what's measurable on the outside than it is in the inside... but for me it's hard for both. It's hard for me to strive to improve physically, professionally, emotionally without God's help. I also struggles to be obedience to all God's words to produce inward fruit of the spirit, ...... then let those fruits radiates outward.
I'm far from being perfect and I most often drown in my failures and weaknesses. Recently, I have more of a fear to let them shown and be honest and frank as I used to be.... I thank God for His grace each day and that Jesus is my savior, and I am not my own savior. His Holy Spirit can flow through me and that He deserves all the glory and honor at the end. I need to learn how to discern God's voice.. better.. so I would know how to say things strategically, in the right timing and with His wisdom. So I'll figure this out by practicing the spiritual disciplines of abstinence: silence, solitude and fasting. Oh, God help me.

Shoo-hyug: What is it?
Tae-young: The best thing one can do for someone who loves her is of course loving her, loving each other right? but if she doesn't love him, she shouldn't leave any hopes for him because even the smallest hope can be a tremendous torture to him. That's why it's called hope torture.
It made me think of all the changes happened these three years.
Hope torture, used to do this to myself, torture myself with the smallest hope. baka desu.
Thank you Holy Spirit for continuely changing me and I will try to always place my hope in You alone.
